Pygmy Goat at The Running Duck Farm

We got Snickers at a poultry show - possibly not the best place to buy a goat if you are looking for a show quality pygmy.  But he's a right handsome goat in our opinion.  He has his horns intact.  Suzanne Gasparotto at Onion Creek Ranch makes a sensible case for leaving the horns intact.  And in our experience it has caused no problems.

This old picnic table is his favorite resting spot.                                       When he sheds his winter coat he is a rich chocolate color.

He is quite personable and after a short period of adjustment became the horse's best buddy.  The two will race to clean up any leftover duck food when they get the chance before the sheep even realize the gate is open.
